Yes, the Moyer Academy will offer free bus transportation throughout New Castle County.  The location of bus stops will be determined after enrollment is completed in the spring. Families will be notified as to the closest bus stop to their homes.

What kinds of extracurricular activities are planned?
Extracurricular activities are crucial to our school’s philosophy of developing the whole person. Our goal is to offer a full menu of athletics, arts, music, and service activities by the time all grades 6-12 are full. The extracurricular programs during the first year of operation will be on a small scale and will grow as the school grows. The school’s location in the City and proximity to our neighbor, the H. Fletcher Brown Boys and Girls Club, offers many potential opportunities for enrichment programs. In terms of athletics, we are considering the following programs for the first year: boys tackle football and girls volleyball in the fall, boys and girls track and field and basketball in the winter, and boys and girls track and field in the spring. We are also exploring the possibilities for a swimming program and additional spring sports. We are planning music opportunities in the area of vocal and instrumentals as well as art.
